Influenced by Plato’s a priori theory - prior knowledge we have that is independent to any experience we have or could have about them.
Product description:
I conceptualised a form based on 3 given text triggers.
SOLID | TENTACLES | LOCKED
Not wanting a literal "lock and key" looking form, I was inspired by my Girl Guide's knowledge of knots. Knots have a fluidity yet it is secured and “locked” when used to secure items or just for decor.
The "solid" is subtle symbolised by the roundish-square form whereby this softer edge created the sense of being "locked" yet fluid.
The "tentacles" are represented literally with the curved, tapered ends and indirectly with the fluidity of the form.
